We’re building on the energy and conversations sparked at our flagship event, Bloom, by introducing Bloom Talks — a new series of practical support sessions for Liverpool’s creative and digital community.

Using AI to Generate Leads

This month's Bloom Talk is brought to us by the brilliant Jack Dotchin from Baltic Creative business Fladot Marketing.

We can't avoid the fact that AI is creeping into every area of business, and one that massively impacts our marketing strategy is how people search online. Optimising websites to suit search engines like Google has always been an SEO tactic to keep on top of, but as AI builds popularity, more people are turning to tools like Chat GPT to find information. So how do we keep up as a business and make sure we are still the go to search result for people looking for services like ours in the world of AI?

About Flatdot

Flatdot are specialist SEO and paid ads consultants based in Baltic Creative, Liverpool. This means they’re never far from a targeted digital strategy, creative content plan or an oat milk latte.

Jack Dotchin is the face (and voice) of Flatdot – leading the charge on sales, client relationships, and a steady stream of terrible puns. With a passion for people and a sixth sense for what makes businesses tick, Jack turns conversations into collaborations and coffee chats into long-term partnerships.

Jack brings energy, empathy, and more than enough chaos to keep things interesting. He believes great marketing starts with great relationships – and maybe a bad joke or two.

Jack works alongside Andy Flatman aka the engine behind the scenes at Flatdot, where he’s been steering operations and wrangling SEO strategies for nearly 7 years. With a total 14 years in digital marketing, Andy knows that Google never sleeps – the complete opposite of his dog.

When he’s not deep in data or optimising everything in sight, Andy’s usually playing golf or tracking the next VW Transporter like it’s a competitive sport. He believes in working smart, staying curious, and always wearing a trucker hat.
