Blooming Nights - Newcastle

Our first event is coming to Newcastle! Cocktails with the girls takes a twist at this intimate cocktail soiree for the ladies out there excited to meet other curious women.

We’ve created a safe and consensual space to meet and mingle that’s also subtle and sophisticated. Enjoy a lightly facilitated experience for those at the start of their adventures and a place to bloom for those ready to make new connections. Hosted at Bar Mellow, enjoy cocktails in booth-style seating and a private mingling area just for other event attendees. A dedicated evening for the curious, questioning and exploring women out there to meet others doing the same.

Join Blooming Nights for a sultry evening with new friends this March. Door prizes and cocktail specials will be on offer. Limited to 20 tickets. The dress code is cocktail wear in black, white and pink!

Who we are

As bi and lesbian women we recognised how tricky taking those first steps towards what your heart and body crave can be. Especially in your 30-40’s! 

A new offering, Blooming Nights Events provides sophisticated spaces for modern women to connect with other curious women and respectfully navigate new ideas, identities and connections.

What should I wear?
Dress code is cocktail wear in black, white or pink - but don't let that stop you from dressing however you feel comfortable! This is your evening, we want you to be as relaxed as possible.

Who exactly is this for?

This space is created for women in their 30-40's at the start of their journey exploring their sexuality or interest in the world of women, or those willing to support newcomers to the space. You don't need to identify as bisexual or gay to attend, if you're curious, you're welcome!

Is this a closed event? 

The event is in a public setting, so others will be at the venue.

Is this a play/hookup party?

No, this event is a cocktail meet-and-mingle style event. What you do after the event with your new connections is up to you!

Do I have to be single?

Whether you're single, partnered and flying solo, or anywhere in between, you're welcome to attend. There are no expectations to do anything other than enjoy a drink with some new friends! Consent is important, so we do encourage disclosure of your current relationship status if you do connect with someone.
