Blooming Nights Newcastle - Spring Social Event
Event description
Hey, ladies of Newy!
Announcing the Blooming Nights - Spring Social (AKA epic end of year event!).
Blooming Nights events are for the ladies out there excited to meet other women who love women (or who think they might!).
It's been such a wonderful year getting to know so many amazing, brave ladies - with many cocktails consumed, deep chats had and connections made!
We are celebrating with a *free* community gathering in Gregson Park on Saturday 23 November, kicking off at 4pm.
Games, Music and Good Chats (same rules as our events apply, no questions are off the table for Anna, Chels and Lozzy!)
What to bring:
- Your favourite picnic drink option (alcoholic or otherwise)
- A plate to share
- Picnic chair/ blanket / cushions - whatever you need to feel comfortable!
- Mozzie spray
- Outdoor games if you have them!
Who we are
As women who love women (we all identify differently!) we recognised how tricky taking those first steps towards what your heart and body crave can be. Especially in your 30-40’s!
Blooming Nights Events provide sophisticated, safe spaces for modern women to connect with other curious women and respectfully and safely navigate new ideas, identities and connections.
FAQ's
What should I wear?
Whatever feels most comfortable in the park! You can bring a change of clothes if you want to go out afterwards.
Who exactly is this for?
This event is to celebrate an amazing year and all the brave women who came to our events but we love making new friends! Open to all women who love women (or think they might)!
Our events were created for women in their 30-40's at the start of their journey exploring their sexuality or interest in the world of women, or those willing to support newcomers to the space. You don't need to identify as bisexual or gay (or any other label!) to attend, if you're curious, you're welcome! You're also welcome to attend if you aren't in this age bracket, just know this will be the general age group.
Is this a play/hookup party?
No, this event is a community picnic in the park. What you do after the event with your new connections is up to you!
Do I have to be single?
Whether you're single, partnered and flying solo, or anywhere in between, you're welcome to attend. There are no expectations to do anything other than enjoy some fun in the park with some new friends! Consent is important, so we do encourage disclosure of your current relationship status if you do connect with someone.
Will there be an after-party?
As always, we will head to see our good friends at Bernie's Bar and you are welcome to join us if you feel comfortable!
Will there be other events?
We are currently in planning mode for an epic line up of events for 2025. Drop us a line if you've got ideas of what you think would be welcomed.
Help, I have another question!
We want you to feel safe and comfortable so ask us any questions you want about the event! Send an email to bloomingnightsevents@gmail.com or connect with us on our socials @bloomingnightsnewcastle
