Blue Ball Room Presents Young Boy Dancing Group

YOUNG BOY DANCING GROUP' Debuts in so called Australia presented by the Blue Ball Room and Hosted by Miscellanea. It will be taking place for one night only on Sunday 25th August at Miscellanea at 7pm sharp.

Founded in 2014, Young Boy Dancing Group is an internationally recognised performance collective whose work blurs the boundaries between dance, ritual, and performance art. Their physically rigorous and emotionally charged practice is known for evoking states of ecstatic movement, vulnerability, collapse, and transformation.

Blue Ball Room is a curated space dedicated to presenting exceptional and challenging performance works. While its home is an intimate apartment-based setting in the heart of the city, this particular presentation calls for a larger venue to support the scale and energy of the artists' work. For this reason, the performance will be hosted at Miscellanea, a space uniquely suited to accommodate the physical demands and immersive nature of the event.

This will mark YBDG's first appearance in so-called Australia—made possible through the group’s own deep commitment to their work. Their presence here is not incidental; it reflects a sustained dedication to their practice and to creating space for shared, embodied experience across borders.
