Event description

WA’s marine industries and ecosystems are attracting increasing attention and investment as more people realise our unique global advantages:

  • Our assets, expertise and marine innovations are world-leading,
  • 60,000 people work in the Blue Economy creating $25 billion of value, and this is predicted to double by 2030,
  • Managing the health of the underlying ecosystems is becoming increasingly complex.

You are invited to a workshop & briefing to:

  • Discuss WA’s Blue Economy future,
  • Gain insight on risks & threats to marine businesses,
  • View innovative & inspiring WA marine case studies,
  • Gain access to useful resources including funding and expert support for your marine business.

This event is relevant for businesses in all marine industries including fishing, aquaculture, tourism, boat building, offshore energy, sub sea services and conservation.

The event will include a presentation, workshop-style discussion and networking. Light catering and refreshments will be provided and will accomodate all dietary preferences.

This workshop is presented by For Blue - WA’s centre for blue economy innovation in partnership with Innovation Cluster, DPIRD, ASBAS, Business Station and South West Development Commission.

If you are unable to attend the workshop, you may access a one-on-one session with the For Blue team via: http://forblue.io
