Presenters:

Scott Grierson is a technology, business development, project management and commercialisation specialist with an international strategic, technical and operational business background at Senior/Executive level. He is currently a Director of UAM Tec and CEO of Pacific Heat and Power. His prior experience includes engagement as the (acting) CEO driver of the Blue Economy CRC, advisory roles with Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) and Sustainability Principal for Parsons Brinckerhoff (now part of WSP Global). For over 20 years, he has built a career with broad MNC, SME, start-up, research and government sector exposure, bringing multi-disciplinary insight, as well as patient and pragmatic commercial discipline to the support of sustainable innovation.

Andrew Outhwaite founded For Blue, at the centre of Blue Economy innovation in WA. He authored the first report on WA’s Blue Economy which identified sectors with the greatest future potential. Andrew has qualifications and international experience in in sustainability, leadership, human development and marine science. He applies his scientific training, a care for human development, and passion for entrepreneurial solutions to enable the health of whole systems. In WA, Andrew previously led the growth of social ventures including Meshpoints, StartupWA and Pollinators Inc.
