Join us for BLUE MIND WELLNESS DAY in Port Melbourne. a full day by the sea dedicated to movement, meditation, and mental wellbeing. From sunrise yoga and pilates to sound healing and Qi Gong, this is a community celebration of wellness for all bodies and levels.
What is the Blue Mind? It is the calm, meditative state our brains and bodies enter when we are near, in, or under water. Water is scientifically proven to lower stress, ease anxiety and enhance feelings of happiness and connection.

Blue Mind Wellness Day will unfold across two stunning venues - Port Melbourne Yacht Club and The Chandlery - both just steps from the sea.
What's On
You'll be guided through a full day of wellness practises including:
Sunrise Yoga and Pilates
Disco Yoga and Qi Gong
Nervous System and Mindful Workshops
Meditation, Mindfulness and Art Gallery.
Sound Healing Journeys .... and so much more to nourish mind, body and soul.
Tickets
General Admission: $99pp for the day includes entry to all sessions (YCY will donate $5 of every full price ticket to Beyond Blue)
Seniors/concession: $60pp for the day includes entry to all sessions. (valid card must be shown on the day).
Pay it forward: $75pp Gift wellness to a frontline responder or someone experiencing financial hardship in our community.
FAQ:
What do I need to bring? BYO yoga mat and any other props that feels good for you (there will be limited yoga mats available at both venues), props, blankets if desired, water bottle, coffee cup
What does my ticket include? Your ticket price includes entry to all sessions and $5 of every full price ticket goes to Beyond Blue
Do I need to bring my ticket on the day? Yes please arrive at PMYC, about 15 minutes earlier than your first session you would like to attend and we will swap your ticket for a wrist band which allows you to attend all sessions all day, and come and go as you like.
Can I book in advance to any of the sessions? Sessions will run on a first-come first-served basis - so no need to pre-book. We recommend arriving at least 10 minutes early to secure your spot if there is a special session you like.
Sessions at The Chandlery will be running 15 mins earlier so if it fills up you will have time to drift over to The Yacht Club (3-4 minute walk away)
With two venues running at The Chandlery (smaller venue) and PMYC and at least two (often up to four) sessions offered at any one time, there'll be plenty of space for everyone.
Will there be time to get from one session to another? Yes there is 30 minutes between most sessions and 45 minutes if you change venues from The Chandlery to the PMYC. As The Chandlery sessions will run 15 minutes earlier. Please be aware there is only 15 minutes between sessions if you change from PMYC to The Chandlery (which is only a 3-4 minute walk away)
Can I leave and come back during the day? Yes! You're free to come and go as you like. When you arrive, you'll exchange your ticket for a wristband, which gives you access to all venues and sessions throughout the day.
Will there be stairs? Yes both venues have an upstairs about 15 steps at each, both venues have a downstairs with 3 steps at each. PM Yacht club has a ramp for easy access to downstairs venue

Will there be food available? Yes there will be a local home made pizza van (at PMYC) and our favourite local Canecoco (juices and soups) World famous Jocks Ice cream. There is lots of cafes (one directly next door at Chandlery) Cafe Bella Cosi within very short walking distance of both venues, there will be a coffee truck from 7am to 2pm at PM Yacht Club (sells chai too)
What do I wear? comfortable clothes for you
Are children under 18 allow to attend? Yes, we love kids! they will need have purchased a concession ticket and be accompanied by an adult over 18
Will the schedule change? While we aim to stick to the schedule as planned, occasionally sessions may shift due to unforeseen circumstances. We'll do our best to keep everything running as listed below and will communicate any changes on the day. There will be posters around with Schedule for the day
Are the venues heated? Yes all rooms have heating and cooling
