Presented by Blue Minds, take part in a free afternoon workshop to take your environmental journey to the next level, with learnings about ocean conservation, creating positive environmental change, eco-anxiety and climate action. PLUS Free Pizza thanks to Warrnambool City Council!

Speakers & facilitators are

Kal Glanznig is one of Australia’s leading youth ocean and climate champions. Creator of the documentary Rising Up, whilst in high-school he arranged a $100,000, 100kW solar panel system, then supported over 20 schools to follow suit. In 2019 he co-founded Plastic Free Cronulla, building a community movement that has helped achieve a legislative ban of single-use plastics.

Kal was awarded Sutherland Shire Young Australian of the Year 2020 and Environmental Citizen of the Year 2023, he was part of the Youth Advisory Council for World Ocean Day and is a sought after speaker including appearances at TEDx and the United Nations Climate Change COP27 & COP28. A passionate aquatic athlete, Kal has represented Australia in water polo at the Youth World Championships and co-founded the Youth Ocean Carnival, delivering major youth events to promote ocean action.

Cooper Chapman, is an ex-professional surfer, founder of The Good Human Factory and a leading youth mental health speaker. With over a decade as a professional surfer his unique approach to mental health awareness and education has seen him speak to over 40,000 students at 85+ schools and over 10,000 corporate participants, receiving extensive positive feedback and data that highlight the significant impact of his work to deliver practical and accessible mental health strategies.

He is a trusted voice and profile in the space and through his podcast Good Humans, he has established himself as a key thought-leader in the space.
