Event description

Join one of our dedicated volunteer guides for a walking tour of the magnificent Blue Mountains Botanic Garden Mount Tomah. Our guides will show you plants and displays of seasonal interest, give you an overview of the Garden's rich and unique history and introduce you to some of the birds who make this Garden their home. Walks begin and end at the Visitor Centre adjacent to the main carpark. Please be aware that this walk involves negotiating stairs and inclines and that a reasonable level of fitness and good mobility are required.

These walks are designed for individuals or small family groups of up to 6 people and numbers for each walk are currently capped at 15 people.  Please book to ensure your place on the walk. Walk-ups on the day will only be taken if there are places free.

There is no charge for the walk but we welcome your donations.

The Gardens is a Not-For-Profit.  Over 50% of our funding is self-generated.  By attending this event and making a donation, you are ensuring that the Botanic Gardens remain places of outstanding horticultural beauty, scientific institutions at the forefront of research, and important centres for learning and education.  Our work is vital to addressing some of the most critical environmental challenges facing the world today.
