About the Artists
Kat Flowers is one of Meanjin’s (Brisbane) most passionate advocates for heartfelt, story-based music. A folk musician drawing inspiration from artists such as Missy Higgins, Florist and The Milk Carton Kids, her gentle vocal lines and melodic guitar work are interwoven with personal stories crafted into touching songs.
Blue Stockings is an art-folk duo, featuring vocalist Alison Paris and guitarist Chloe Hasson. With a focus on story-telling and conceptual performances, their sound exists at the intersection of folk, modern classical, and experimental music.
The Nightmare Rangers is a dynamic 5 piece folk-punk-rock band hailing from Meanjin, Australia. Formed in 2022, the group brings a unique fusion of traditional Irish instruments and punk rock energy to the Australian music scene.
