Description

Join artist Anna Mykhalchuk for a gentle creative workshop inspired by Samchykivka, a traditional Ukrainian decorative art form, and the beauty of Australian nature.

In this beginner-friendly acrylic painting session, participants will be guided step by step to create their own meaningful artwork featuring a blue wren surrounded by flowers, leaves and flowing decorative details.

Through simple shapes, joyful colour and rhythmic patterns, you will discover how Samchykivka art can bring a sense of calm, connection and creative wellbeing.

No art experience is needed. This workshop is designed to be warm, relaxed and supportive, with plenty of guidance along the way. The focus is not on perfect painting, but on slowing down, enjoying colour, and creating something personal and uplifting.

Participants will learn simple Samchykivka-inspired elements, explore the symbolic beauty of the blue wren, and take home their own completed artwork.

What you’ll get:
Step-by-step guidance, all materials provided, a calm creative experience, and your own blue wren artwork to take home.

Perfect for:
Beginners, seniors, art lovers, community groups, and anyone looking for a gentle creative reset.
