Blueberry Jam - When Swing Meets World Music
Event description
Blueberry Jam is putting together a 7-piece band for this special concert, stirring nostalgic swing with Spanish rhythm, French groove and Portuguese samba. With its lead singer/song writer from Taiwan, you will also hear original compositions that share stories of Taiwanese culture. By the end of the show, you will walk away with not only dancing feet but also a few words in Mandarin and Portuguese!
Expect an evening of culture-melting, story-telling and Latin dancing.
Lineup: Mark Sutton (drums), Owen Thomas (tenor saxophone, percussions), Matt Fraser (guitar), Phil Taylor (keyboard and vocal), Peter Heyward (flute, percussions, vocal), Shane Edwards (bass guitar), and Pei-Shan Wu (lead vocal).
Restaurant opens at 5.30pm. Doors open at 6.30pm. Concert starts at 7pm.
