SHE HIKES PERTH - BLUFF KNOLL OVERNIGHT TRIP 2026
we're so excited to be heading south for our second annual She Hikes Perth Bluff Knoll trip
FRIDAY 9TH - SATURDAY 10TH OF OCTOBER
We'll travel from Perth in organised carpool groups on Friday afternoon, spend the night together in Mount Barker, enjoy a group dinner, then get up bright and early on Saturday to take on Bluff Knoll before heading home to Perth.

BLUFF KNOLL HIKE
Distance: ~ 6.8km return
Difficulty: Hard / Grade 4
Elevation; ~ 650m
While the distance may not seem too bad, the significant elevation gain makes this physically demanding.
You should be comfortable completing steep climbs and descents and have a good level of fitness before applying.
WEEKEND ITINERARY
(possible changes still to be made)
FRIDAY 9TH OF OCTOBER;
Depart Perth approx. 2pm in pre-organised car pool groups
Arrive in Mount Barker approx. 5:30-6:30pm and check into accomodation
Group dinner at a local venue at 7pm
SATURDAY 10TH OF OCTOBER
Breakfast at Mount Barker Bakery
Travel to Bluff Knoll
Complete Bluff Knoll hike as a group
Return to Perth after hike
(final timings and other information will given in a final trip document to successful applicants)
Note: Accomodation will be shared, and attendees should expect to share rooms and possibly beds with other members of the group.
COST
$75 per person
This includes one night of shared accomodation (motel/cabin style) and National park entry fees
You will have your own personal costs for food, fuel, drinks and other personal expenses.
Payment must be sent by Saturday 29th September

WHO CAN APPLY?
We ask that you have attended a She Hikes Perth hike within the last few months, so you have an understanding of how we run and how comfortable you are hiking.
We will be cross-checking applications with our previous registration/emergency contact forms.
Due to difficulty of this hike, you should also have a good level of fitness and be confident that you can complete the full grade 4 trail.

Unlike our regular events, submitting this form is an application only and does NOT guarantee you a place on the trip.
Submit your application: Complete the Humanitix form and answer all the required questions
Applications are reviewed: The She Hikes Perth team will review applications, including previous attendance and hiking experience
Successful applicants will be contacted: If your application is approved, you will recieve a private Humanitix link giving you access to the official event ticket.
Secure your place: Follow the private link and complete the required steps and pay by the payment deadline to secure your spot.
