BLUME - a night of Reiki, Sound & Cacao

As the earth begins to awaken into the blossoming energy of spring, we invite you to join us for BLUME – an evening of deep nourishment, connection, and renewal.

In this offering, we honour spring’s invitation to grow and renew through the medicine of cacao, the healing flow of reiki, and the resonant waves of sound. This journey is a call to return home to self - awakening your intuition, embody self-love, and align with the natural cycles of healing and connection.

Cacao is a gentle yet powerful heart-opening plant medicine, traditionally used in ceremony to deepen presence, connection, and inner clarity. Drinking ceremonial-grade cacao can help you soften the mind, awaken the senses, and open into a state of receptivity- Perfect for journeying deeper into this Blume experience.

While cacao is safe for most people, it is not recommended during pregnancy, for those with serious heart conditions, or anyone taking high doses of antidepressants (MAOIs/SSRIs), as it is a natural stimulant. Please come hydrated, avoid heavy meals beforehand, and allow this sacred medicine to support your body and heart in dropping fully into the experience.

Flow of the Evening
Jem (from @soul.and.soma.with.jem) will guide you through a cacao ceremony and meditation to awaken the heart and soften the mind, while we sip slowly on the rich, ceremonial cacao. Alicia (from @littlevin_) will then weave reiki through the resonance of sound bowls, holding space for subtle release and energetic balance. The evening will close with a deeply restorative sound bath, while Jem offers reiki over the group – a powerful union of sound and energy healing.

Jem and Alicia were drawn together through their shared love of healing, devotion to self-discovery, and deep trust in the wisdom of the universe. With over five years experience each -their combined practices create an environment of safety, authenticity, and transformation.

$5 from every ticket will be donated to Catherine House, supporting their vital work to end women’s homelessness in South Australia, much of which stems from domestic and family violence. Your contribution helps provide safety, healing, and a future of dignity and hope.
