Event description
It's time to party on the lake with our annual Boat Party, back due to popular demand as one of the best nights of the week. This year we take to the lake on the famous Earnslaw which also increases our capacity. So get nautical, and get ready for one epic night, and then join us after for Back On Shore to keep the party going. Boarding starts 7.30pm welcomed aboard by Kola Gin and Trinity Ice. Departure 8pm sharp. The boat will not wait for you! If you want a pre-boarding drink, then head into Little Blackwood at Steamer Wharf before we open the doors. Queenstown's DJ Sammy C, and Brisbane's DJ Mason Andrews. Restrictions: R18, Winter Pride Patrons only Cost: $40, $20 as an Add-on for Winter Pride Patrons Head into Little Blackwood at Steamer Wharf before we open the doors. THEME: Dress nautical |
Restrictions: R18
Ticket Window: 7:30pm for 8pm departure.
Revolving Door 8pm sharp.
Arrival times: All tickets have a "ticket window" for their use. This window is the time that a ticket will guarantee entry into an event. After the "ticket window" is closed, a revolving door policy will be used. If you have a ticket and arrive after the "ticket window" is closed, you will be prioritised according to the revolving door policy. Arrival after the "ticket window" is closed forfeits a ticket holder's guaranteed entry.
"Revolving Door" is free access to any patrons (capacity allowing) in the following priority order: first, "re-entry" allows entry to anyone who has already been wrist banded as having entered the event, then Maxi patrons, followed by Mini patrons, then any ticket holders who arrived after the ticket "window" closed, followed by Long Weekender then Enabling Patrons. Winter Pride reserves the right to sell door sales if there is capacity to an event and no patrons are waiting for revolving door access at the time of the sale.
Charity partnerships: Part of your ticketing fee is donated to one of Winter Pride's chosen charity partners, Qtopia. Qtopia is a social support service for LGBTQIA+ young people, their whānau, and their communities, based in Ōtautahi Christchurch and servicing the greater Te Waipounamu. There are two halves to the work that Qtopia do: one is about building opportunities for community connection through events like the weekly youth group, and the other is about using education to create lasting positive social change. This year they’re excited about providing more support to rainbow young people in rural regions throughout the South Island and your ticket purchase is helping them get that little bit closer to achieving their goals.
