Feel-good Australian singer, ukulele strummer and drummer Bobby Alu is bringing his signature style to Stef & Co on March 29th. Expect a soulful ride on the groove spectrum from Polynesian folk, through to roots, reggae, soul to tropical pop.
Doors open at 6pm, with Bobby kicking off at 7pm. JS will then spin some tunes to keep you dancing the night away.

“If there’s one thing that you should know about me, it’s that I like to cruise…” sings Australian/Samoan singer, ukulele strummer and drummer Bobby Alu in the opening line of his most requested song My Style. To celebrate ten years of the song first released on the Bay Sessions EP in 2015, Bobby is hitting the road around Australia, showcasing his inimitable style that rides the groove spectrum from Polynesian folk, through roots, reggae, soul to tropical pop.

“I had no idea when I wrote My Style that it would be one of my most listened to songs!" says Bobby. "It’s always the most requested and the biggest sing-along moment at my shows. People ask me if I know why this is, and I think it’s because we all want to be comfortable in ourselves or to simply find ourselves. That is the spirit of My Style. It’s something I strive for, and I find it exciting to grow older and keep meeting the new me. Shedding old habits, finding new ones. It’s the quirks that I love in my friends and fam. Our essence is the very thing that our people love and miss about us. It’s what makes me, me and you, you. So here’s to moving through life on a quest to find - or to simply accept - who you are. And let’s celebrate that for an evening together.”
