Welcome to Body Awakening, a beautiful evening of Cacao ceremony, conscious-connected breathwork & embodied movement. A space to harness the wisdom of our bodies and the medicine of ceremonial cacao to free, liberate and release any stuck energy & emotions held within us.

Together we will move out of the thinking mind and come home to the body; using breath-work and somatic practices such as shaking, body meditation, voice activation, tapping, and free movement. Inviting you to explore and move your body to release old patterns, pain, trauma, stress & tension. You will be guided and held by Courtney & Gareth in the most nourishing and safe space, allowing you to drop into feeling deeply grounded, blissful and connected to yourself.

We will be holding these events monthly to give space for connection and healing as part of a community, which we know its so transformation and needed. Each event will open us to work with different energies and themes, aligning with the external seasons and the seasons of our own bodies. This month as we are deep into Autumn, we will be working with deep nourishment, grounding and regulation as we slow down from Summer and connect inwards.

We will sit in sacred cacao ceremony to connect us into the earth and our bodies. Cacao is a gentle plant medicine, which allows us to open to our hearts and the euphoric energy stored within our cells. This is optional but highly recommended as it is superrrr scrumptious and incredibly healing.

Is this for you?

~ This workshop is for any being with a body! No experience needed for the movement. All genders welcome.

~ Moderate level of mobility required, as we will be moving from anywhere between 30-45minutes. You are guided to listen to the wisdom of your body, so if you have any injuries or pain, honour that and move at your own pace.

~ An open heart and open mind is extremely recommended.

Who are we?

Courtney is a space holder and women's wellness guide devoted to helping people reconnect to their bodies. Her background is in holistic health, womb wisdom, somatics, trauma healing & embodiment. Her passion is creating spaces for people to fully let go, release, liberate and feel a true sense of freedom. Her work is centered around dropping out of the mind and into the intuitive wisdom of the body.

Gareth is a breath-work facilitator who specialises in conscious connected breath-work, this is a powerful technique which unlocks stored energies within the body, leaving feelings of interconnectedness and clarity. He is passionate about sourcing empowerment, creativity & connection to one self through the body and breath.

If you are familiar with this style of breath-work, it will be a shorter and lighter experience to really drop us into an ecstatic and heart open state before we move together. This style of breath-work is not suitable for anyone who has heart conditions, is pregnant or taking strong pharmaceutical medication - we will offer an alternative technique for you.
