Welcome to Body Awakening, a beautiful evening of Cacao ceremony, conscious-connected breath-work & embodied movement. A space to reconnect to the wisdom of our bodies and come home to ourselves.

Together we will move out of the thinking mind and come home to the body; using breath-work and somatic practices such as shaking, body meditation, voice activation, tapping, deep imagery and free movement. Inviting you to explore and move your body in new ways to release old patterns, stuck energy, trauma, stress & physical tension. During each event we will be working with the energy of the seasons, calling us to connect with our internal and external natural world. This month we will be slowing right now as we move into the depths of winter, this is an opportunity to fully unwind, let go and replenish your mind, body & soul.

You will be guided and held by Courtney & Gareth in the most nourishing and safe space throughout the evening, allowing you to drop into feeling deeply grounded and empowered throughout your journey. We will be holding these events monthly to give space for connection and healing as part of a community, which we know its so transformation and needed.

We will sit in sacred cacao ceremony to connect us into the earth and our bodies. Cacao is a gentle plant medicine, which allows us to open to our hearts and the euphoric energy stored within our cells. We will use the power of ceremony to set intentions and connect as community. This is optional but highly recommended as it is superrrr scrumptious and incredibly healing.

The conscious-connected breath-work is a circular breath, performed either through the mouth or nose. It works to connect you to your body and helps process any stuck energy or emotions. If you are familiar with this style of breath-work, it will be a shorter experience (around 20-30minutes). Gareth will be explaining in depth how to work with the breath to ensure you have the most safe and empowering experience. This style of breath-work is not suitable for anyone who has heart conditions, is pregnant or taking strong pharmaceutical medication - we will offer an alternative technique for you.

Is this for you?

~ This workshop is for any being with a body! No experience needed for the movement. All genders welcome.

~ Moderate level of mobility required, as we will be moving from anywhere between 30-45minutes. You are guided to listen to the wisdom of your body, so if you have any injuries or pain, honour that and move at your own pace.

~ An open heart and open mind is extremely recommended.

Who are we?

Courtney is a space holder and women's wellness guide devoted to helping people reconnect to their bodies. Her background is in holistic health, womb wisdom, somatics, trauma healing & embodiment. Her passion is creating spaces for people to fully let go, release, liberate and feel a true sense of freedom. Her work is centered around dropping out of the mind and into the intuitive wisdom of the body.

Gareth is a breath-work facilitator who specialises in conscious connected breath-work, this is a powerful technique which unlocks stored energies within the body, leaving feelings of interconnectedness and clarity. He is passionate about sourcing empowerment, creativity & connection to one self through the body and breath.
