We are mostly water, moving in rhythms of our bodies’ fluids, grounded in our bones, and animated by breath. We find the same elements that shape rich estuaries of our planet within our own chest, where the lungs embrace the heart.

Seónagh’s class taps into a deep memory that we are not separate from nature. We attune to the physiological systems of the body, including the different rhythms of fluids such as blood, cerebrospinal fluid, interstitial fluid, and lymph systems. In this way, we become aware of our bodies as part of the earth, attune to rhythms in nature, and become more sensitive to a world that is continually speaking to us through trees, wind, waters, animals, and even the sky. Classes include movement phrases based on Dynamic Embodiment™, Dr. Eddy’s combo of Laban/Bartenieff studies and Body-Mind Centering®.

What you need for this class:

Enough space to stretch out on the floor. Loose-fitting clothing.

(Optional) Pillow, mat, or different-sized balls, if you have access to them.

Strongly recommended: stimulation massage balls for fascia release.
