Body Project Australia is a group-based early intervention program that targets body image concerns in young women aged 14-18 years. This two-day in person workshop provides the knowledge and skills to deliver the four-week program in your community.

The two-day workshop is appropriate for teachers and school wellbeing staff, youth workers, community workers, health and fitness professionals and anyone else working with young people.

The workshop adopts experiential learning as the main training tool. Workshop participants will have the opportunity to participate as both program facilitators and participants, as we practice each session of the four-week program. There is some pre-workshop reading and activity completion required as part of this training.

WHEN:

Commences March 3rd, 2025 (AEDT)

Session 1: Monday March 3rd - 9.30am to 4.30pm
Session 2: Tuesday March 4th - 9.30am to 4.30pm

*Please do not register for this workshop if you are not able to attend both days of training.

CATERING:

Morning tea will be provided. Please bring your own lunch.

Alternatively, you are welcome to enjoy one of the nearby cafes or visit the local supermarket.

COST:

$615.00 (incl GST)

The cost of the workshop includes the facilitator manual and resources.

Please note our cancellation policy applies:

If you cancel event 72 hours to 7 days prior – 25% of the fee will be charge

If you cancel event 48 to 72 hours – 50% of the fee will be charged

If you cancel event Less than 48 hours – 100% of the fee will be charged
