Event description

@hijinxalley and @debaser_events present a co-headlining evening of chaos. Local indie-angels @pastures.band will be joined by rising fresh faces @bodywireband and Hello Goodbye, a photographic exhibition curated by @olipoignand showcasing the highs and lows of the music scene around Sydney and beyond.

Pastures are a 5-piece Indie Rock band from Sydney whose jangly, nostalgic sound seeks to tug on your heartstrings and capture the warm bittersweetness of life.
After playing a range of local shows across Sydney, Pastures are set to release their debut EP in 2023. The forthcoming 5-track release is filled with shimmering sounds and
pensive lyrics that serve as an ode to the simple joys in life, whilst also exploring the harsher realities we inevitably face.

BODYWIRE are a blistering four-piece band from Sydney, serving a modern alternative rock sound with a distinct punk drive, drawing influence from bands like The Viagra Boys, Pixies and The Murlocs. Coming off the back of their first few gigs, this will be BODYWIRE's biggest show to date.

Hello, Goodbye draws on stories of intimacy to reflect on the response and integration of music within the human existance. Hello, Goodbye comes from the idea that music attains its own physical presence, a manipulative one which drives human emotion into fantasy, pulling as all into fleeting moments of purity, a sense of grounding and presentness unlike any other

It will also beloved guitarist/booker/cooker Oscar Byrne's birthday on this fine eve, so remember to get him a drink xo
