Boeings and Bandicoots - Ride to Woodlands

Join Merri-bek BUG as we head west to Woodlands Park. We probably won't see any bandicoots but we are practically guaranteed to see airplanes and kangaroos.  

We'll follow shared paths, biyumen and gravel to Woodlands, and once we arrive at Woodlands Historic Homestead we'll have snacks/lunch, picknicking under the trees. You can BYO or buy from the cafe there. 

After lunch you may choose to ride home the way we came. If you are up for some more exploring and a climb we will take a tour via some singletrack and Gellibrand Hill before returning home via the Broadmeadows Trail. 

You will need to be comfortable riding on roads with some traffic for parts of this ride although much of it will be on shared paths. We will be riding on gravel/dirt paths and roads. Depending on how you ride home this ride will be approximately 50-55kms. 

The ride will take as long as it takes.
