For over 35 years, Bogong to Hotham has stood as the ultimate alpine challenge the toughest mile-for-mile mountain run on Australian soil. This grassroots, legendary event is the one that started it all, and it still pushes runners to their limits across rugged, breathtaking high-country terrain.

We’ve added early starter options so more runners can experience this iconic journey across the high country. Traditional cut-offs and time limits remain for those chasing the classic challenge, but now there’s extra flexibility for adventurers wanting more time to soak it all in.

🏃 Your Options:

• 64km – The full Alpine Rooftop Run, an endurance test like no other

• 35km – A serious mountain challenge

• 29km – A stunning entry into the high country

📍 Important Details:

• This is an unmarked course. Runners must carry a map, mobile phone with a tracker app, and mandatory gear.

• Telstra SIM strongly recommended for coverage.
