Hi! I’m Anjali, founder and choreographer at @allthingsdancebyanjali .

This has been a long time coming, and I’m so excited to finally share it with you.

My love for dance began early. My parents say I was grooving to music before I could even talk. I started formal training at the age of five and never really stopped.

Over the years, I’ve trained in Kathak, Odissi, Jazz and Contemporary dance styles. I taught dance back in India before moving to New Zealand and have recently started retraining in Kathak to reconnect with my roots.

I now work full-time in digital marketing for a finance company here in Auckland. I’m also a certified yoga tutor, and I’ve explored acting and modelling too, with a few creative projects here in NZ and some pageant wins in India.

But through everything, dance has always been my constant. It is not just movement to me. It is expression, creativity, freedom and joy.

With All Things Dance, I want to create a space where everyone feels safe and inspired to learn. A place to move, express and enjoy the art of dance with no pressure or judgement.
