Bollywood for Beginners with Coota Bollywood All Stars at Falling Leaf Festival

The Coota Bollywood All Stars are a vibrant group of Bollywood dancers. The group was founded by Fiona Braybrooks and includes performers from Cootamundra and surrounding regions. The Coota Bollywood All Stars have performed extensively throughout the Riverina area, nationally and internationally and aim to educate, entertain and create awareness of multicultural inclusion. The group have staged three productions; Retro to Recent (2014), Fusion Fantasy (2016) and Noor (2018).
The production of Noor was recognised by the Canberra Area Theatre Awards with two nominations for costuming and technical achievement (video and sound).
Don’t miss the sparkle, colour, glitz and glamour of the Coota Bollywood All Stars - get involved in the workshop on Saturday 27 April 2024 from 9:30am at Tumut River Brewing Co., brought to you by Falling Leaf Festival.
- Participants will learn some beginner level Bollywood dance moves and learn a short dance routine
- Suited for adults of any fitness level (if participants have any concerns, please speak with Fiona at the workshop)
- Wear comfortable clothing
- Bring a drink bottle and your enthusiasm to learn something new and fun!
COOTA BOLLYWOOD ALL STARS will also be doing roving performances in Wynyard Street Tumut at approx 11.40AM and 12.30PM on Saturday 27 April.
