The communities of Ancona, Barjarg, Bonnie Doon, Maindample, Merton & Peppin Point are coming together for a fire safety information session.

8.30am to 10.00am

The event is FREE. Egg & bacon rolls served at 8.30am for a 9am start.

The session will cover:

the seasonal outlook for an increased risk of fire in the north east
how to know if there is a fire nearby
what to expect during a bush or grass fire
your grassfire or bushfire risk
the importance of having a plan Basic survival tips if your fire plan fails
preparing your property for grass or bushfire
