Event description

Come to celebrate the creativity of students from Collier, Kensington, and Manning Primary Schools. Three students will be announced as the winners of the 2025 Book Builders Challenge, with their books available for purchase. 

Join our launch event to see the student’s books on display, learn about the storytelling and publishing process, and take part in craft activities.

📍 Location: South Perth Community Centre - South Terrace & Sandgate Street, South Perth WA 6151

📅 Date: Thursday, 25 September 2025

⏰ Session Times:

  • Session 1: 11:00am – 12:00pm - (For Manning Primary School & Kensington Primary School)

  • Session 2: 1:00pm – 2:00pm - (For Collier Primary School)

🎟️ Cost: Free (Bookings essential)

The event will include:

  • Speeches from esteemed WA authors and illustrators.

  • An Audience Choice Award, voted on and announced during the event.

  • Student presentations and photo display.

  • Fun craft activities.
