Event description

Celebrate the creativity of students from Collier, Kensington, and Manning Primary Schools.
Three students will be announced as the winners of the 2025 Book Builders Challenge, with their books available for purchase. 

Event Details

📍 Location: South Perth Community Centre - South Terrace & Sandgate Street, South Perth WA 6151

📅 Date: Thursday, 25 September 2025

⏰ Session Times:

  • Session 1: 11:00am – 12:00pm - (For Manning Primary School & Kensington Primary School)

  • Session 2: 1:00pm – 2:00pm - (For Collier Primary School)

🎟️ Cost: Free (Bookings essential)

The event will include:

  • Showcase of student-made books with the winning books professionally printed and for sale, with proceeds going to the participating schools’ P&Cs.

  • Speeches from esteemed WA authors and illustrators

  • Appearances by Members of Parliament

  • Student presentations

  • An Audience Choice Award, voted on and announced during the event

  • Photo display

  • Craft activities
