Dainere's Rainbow Book Character Ball - Cancelled

It is with immense disappointment and heartbreak that we announce that the Dainere's Rainbow Book Character Ball 2025 has been cancelled due to insufficient ticket sales.  Guests have been notified with further details about refunds.   We wish to express our heartfelt, humble and endless gratitude to those who did book to attend this meaningful and special event.  We hope you will join us again on 13th June 2026.

Join us for a spectacular and meaningful evening to work on a new chapter where children with brain cancer have the opportunity to have the long, happy and healthy future they deserve. 

The Book Character Ball will be an evening that brings together a community at the historic and stylish Old Parliament House to enjoy a delectable three-course meal combined with a three hour drinks package, marvellous live entertainment, Live and Silent Auction, Raffle and more.  

To really embrace the theme of the evening we encourage guests to dress as your favourite book character.

Cost:  $210.00 per head (plus booking fee) or $2100.00 for Table of 10 (plus booking fee)

Time:  6:30pm until 11:30pm

100% of all funds raised or donated through the Book Character Ball go towards research programs and projects set up in memory of Dainere Anthoney to bring hope to children in Canberra and around Australia diagnosed with brain cancer.
