Please join the Women’s Art Register for the launch of our publication Keeping things together: 50 years of the Women's Art Register and to celebrate the end of a milestone anniversary year!
Let's gather for drinks and conversation on the rooftop of the iconic Queen Victoria Women’s Centre. Everyone is welcome! While the festivities will be largely informal, Meredith Rogers, who was there at W.A.R.’s inception, will launch the book.

Accessibility
Visit the Queen Victoria Women's Centre accessibility page for full information. The Millarri Murnmut Room is located on Level 5 (rooftop level), and is accessible via a lift. There is an all gender, fully accessible bathroom on the Ground Floor, and an all gender bathroom on Level 5. You can find a short fly-through video of the Millarri Murnmut Room here. The space includes an undercover area and an open-air area.
Parking
A small number of curbside parks are located in front of the building on Lonsdale Street, with more curbside and central parks found on Russell Street. Accessible parking spaces are also located in these bays. More parking is located underneath the Queen Victoria Women’s Centre through Wilson's Parking. Access is via Lonsdale, Russell or Little Lonsdale Streets.
Public transport
We recommend coming by train or tram: the closest train station is Melbourne Central (3 minute walk) or catch a tram up or down Swanston Street and alight at Melbourne Central/State Library Victoria.
