Book Launch: Gaza: Anatomy of a Genocide

A free event. In Israel, large parts of the political mainstream and population endorse policies of dispossession, destruction, expulsion and lethal domination of the Palestinian people. I struggled to understand how a society with such deep intellectual, cultural and scientific traditions could come to treat a neighbouring people it has long vilified and impoverished with such brutality, and how these policies have become so widely normalised.

My book, Gaza: Anatomy of a Genocide, is my attempt to understand how this became possible and to document its consequences.

The book is 420 pages, illustrated, and signed copies will be for sale at the launch for $40 — cash, payWave or bank deposit (no EFTPOS). The book will also be available in bookshops or post-free from the publisher: info@steeleroberts.co.nz — www.steeleroberts.co.nz
