Catherine Meatheringham is an Australian children’s author who writes picture books that invite children to join in with the story. Her picture books feature playful language, onomatopoeia and imagery.

Her books have been shortlisted for the Speech Pathology Australia Book of the Year Awards and Highly Commended in the ACT Notable Awards. Catherine regularly presents at schools and lives in Canberra with her husband, children and golden retriever.
