Join us for the launch of Interactive Technologies and Music Making: Transmutable Music by Dr Tracy Redhead — a thought-provoking new book published by Routledge that explores how recorded music can evolve through AI, data, and interactivity.

This free event is part of the international Politics of the Machine (POM) 2025 conference, which brings together artists, researchers, and technologists to explore the intersections of politics, computation, and creative practice. Learn more about the conference: https://www.pomconference.org/pom-perth-2025/

The launch will feature a short talk by the author unpacking the concept of "Transmutable Music" — a new way of thinking about recorded music that shifts in real time, shaped by listener context, technology, and creativity.

Whether you're a musician, academic, technologist, or simply curious about the future of sound and digital culture, you're warmly invited to attend. For more information about the book go to http://www.transmutablemusic.com
