BOOK LAUNCH: Places Minds Shine Bright Young Writers and Illustrators

The Little Bookroom is excited to be hosting the launch of Minds Shine Bright's first anthology collection for young writers, Places.

Join Minds Shine Bright’s young writers and illustrators at The Little Bookroom to celebrate the launch of Places anthology for writers aged fifteen and under.

The event will feature readings by young writers and poets as well as a display of artwork by young illustrators and a chat about what inspired their illustrations. The Places story map connects young writers from across Australia and across the world.

The clarity, vivid imagination and perception of these writers and illustrators showcase unique voices and images that capture the essence of the places we live, love and leave. Places Anthology features the winning and commended young writers and illustrators from the Minds Shine Bright Writing Competition.

Minds Shine BrightFounder, writer and competition judge, Amanda Scotney will be there to offer a few tips on entering writing competitions. There will be something for parents and teachers too with a selection of Minds Shine Bright anthologies to peruse for older readers.
