Event description

Join us for the launch of The Rush of Stone, the gripping second instalment in Tor Roxburgh's epic fantasy series, The Promise of Stone.

The Stone Body’s magical portals offer the promise of plenty—an empty promise.

In The Rush of Stone, the epic sequel to The Light Heart of Stone, famine and political unrest threaten to reignite as the Stone Body’s magic remains elusive.

Three heroes, Fox, Talia, and Mica, navigate dangerous territories and confront their own shortcomings as they race to uncover the portals’ secrets and powers. Talia’s talent promised to feed the city but leaves destruction in its wake. Fox’s diligence draws her into danger. Mica’s quest to save both Fox and his own people unleashes havoc.

And Talia's adopted father? Aikin's unwavering certainty may be the greatest threat of all.

As alliances crumble and the old ways unravel, the heroes must learn to trust each other if they are to restore balance and protect the ones they love in this epic fantasy of identity, magic, and the unyielding human spirit.

Stones rush. The world changes. The dance begins.

Light refreshments will be served. Books available for purchase and signing.
