ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Karen Hendriks was a teacher until it was time for her not to just read and share picture books but write them too. For her it is always about stories, books and children reading. Karen lives by the sea in Shellharbour, Australia, where she snorkels with stingrays, whale watches and becomes a story spy in local coffee shops. Karen is curious and travels whenever she can. Her favourite places are in Europe, especially Greece, the Czech Republic, and Germany. She dreams to one day swim with whale sharks and wishes plastic didn’t exist because it’s killing our oceans.
