Description
A two day conference for writers, illustrators, teachers and librarians promoting excellence in children’s literature.
The festival aims to offer quality, affordable workshops and master classes and the opportunity to obtain feedback on pitches, manuscripts and portfolios. There will be key panel sessions with editors, authors and illustrators and focused sessions with book creators.
Confirmed editors are: Bethany Loveridge (Perentie Press), Cathy Vallance (UQP), Jeanmarie Morosin (Hachette), Kristy Bushnell (Freelance Editor), Lorae Fossy (Scholastic), Marisa Pintado (Hardie Grant), Meg Whelan (Affirm Press), Rochelle Stephens (Wombat Books), Rowena Beresford (Riveted Press), and Siobhan Cantrill (HarperCollins Australia).
Confirmed creatives are: Ashleigh Barton (author, CBCA Notable 2026), Gabriel Evans (illustrator and author), Judy Watson (illustrator, CBCA Notable 2026), and Pip Harry (author, CBCA Notable 2026).
