Book making with Sharon Peoples

Learn about the grain of paper, glues, glue on cover-papers and endpapers and the basic tools of bookbinding. Begin with simple stitched pamphlet binding and in the second half participants will make a little more complex pamphlet book with a hard cover and end papers. A pamphlet binding is a great way to begin to learn about making books and bookbinding. Participants are welcome to bring along papers and drawings, but all materials will be supplied by Sharon.

Entry instructions

There is a ramp from the front carpark to the main entrance. The lift to the first floor, is located just inside the main entrance, on the lefthand side and opposite the stairs. The lift dimensions are: 2100mm (h) x 1450mm (d). The door is 880mm (w). The theatre is accessed from the first floor.

Toilets

TAC has left-hand transfer accessible unisex toilets located upstairs and downstairs. Gender-specific bathrooms are also available on both floors.

Accessible parking

There is one accessible parking space in the front carpark. If you require accessible parking, please feel free to use this space. If you or someone in your party has mobility issues where access to the TAC carpark is essential, please contact the Centre on 6293 1443 and we will reserve a space for you.
