Book of Bush School Play Day - Centennial Park

We’re inviting you to a special Book of Bush School day — an outdoor celebration for children aged 3 and up, inspired by this new collection of nature play activities, songs, and stories from over a decade of Bush School in Centennial Park!

Set in the heart of the park at our treasured Bush School site, this one-hour event will immerse children in the spirit of seasonal nature play. Enjoy hands-on activities and shared stories with time to roam, climb, and explore the wonders of the world around them.

The Book of Bush School is a practical toolkit brimming with ideas to help little adventurers (and adult ones!) explore, learn, and thrive together outdoors. A free, online resource that draws on more than ten years of Bush School sessions, it’s designed to nurture curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love for the bush.

To book your tickets:

• Select Wednesday 24 September

• Select the time slot you would like to attend with your child(ren) - groups will rotate through 3 activities over the course of an hour, followed by child-led nature play.

• Please book a ticket for each child attending - parents/carers retain duty of care throughout the program.

Bush School is an outdoor program and will take place in all weather except for high winds and electrical storms. Participants (adults and children) are expected to dress for the outdoors, including bringing wet weather gear, a hat, sturdy enclosed shoes, and waterproof footwear when required.

COVID-19, Infectious Disease and Viruses:

I understand that it is my responsibility to ensure that all attendees associated with this booking do not attend if:

• We/I show any COVID-19, Infectious disease or virus symptoms or feel unwell.

• We/I have had a fever, diarrhoea or vomiting within 12 hours or at the time of the program.

• We/I have been asked to self-isolate.

• We/I have had a positive COVID-19 test result and continue to have symptoms.

If any of the above apply to you or any attendee associated with this booking we request that you do not attend this program. In this instance please contact us via email to arrange a refund of your ticket for any of the above reasons
