About Maura: Maura is an author, playwright and filmmaker who lives in Canberra. Her diverse body of work delves into identity, self, and belonging, including her acclaimed play, Fragments, which was transformed into an award-winning web series.
Maura's passion for creative non-fiction for children shines through in What Will You Make Today? (Storytorch Press, June 2023), a book empowering young readers to make a difference in the world. Alphabetter – Better Ways to Be from A to Z (Affirm Press, February 2024) presents relatable scenarios that encourage children to explore positive character traits and values.
