John Weeks spent 30 years of his life as an international winemaker working in over twenty countries before an explosion changed his life in an instant, receiving burns to 75% of his body.

He was the world’s first burn recipient of a revolutionary process for skin regeneration now used for burns, reconstructive surgery and chronic wounds around the world.

Living without Fingerprints – A point in time is a photobiographical account which instills hope and courage to all those affected by trauma by utilising mechanisms found in common with a wide range of survivors. Many of these experiences have happened at a specific point in time and John has selected photographs from his travels that gives further depth to the story associated with it.
