Book Week Sustainable Costumes: Tips and Tricks Workshop
Event description
For families of primary school aged children.
Take the stress and expense out of Book Week this year and learn how to turn pre-loved costumes and everyday clothing into something new and interesting for your child's next Book Week parade.
As a mum and dressmaker, our host Ali Dibley knows a thing or two about Book Week costumes and the quickest, most inexpensive, and sustainable shortcuts to reworking what you already have at home.
You will need to bring along existing items from home—old costumes, clothing, hats, masks, scarves, belts, jewelry, and even shoes—and Ali will provide tips and tricks to help you create your child's next awesome Book Week outfit.
Bookings are essential. One ticket = One family booking.
This is a free event. Please book one session only.
