Bookbinding: DIY Sketchbok

In this intro to bookbinding, participants will decorate and assemble their own sketchbooks using the Coptic stitch method. This type of binding is favored by many readers and hobbyists, as it allows a book to lay completely flat when open making it great for sketchbooks. Coptic bound books are constructed with decorative chain stitching across an exposed spine which showcases the colorful threads holding the pages together.
