Book Launch: A World of Resistance
Description
Please join us for the launch of A World of Resistance: India and the Global Antibiotic Crisis, launched by Professor Helen Sullivan, Dean of the ANU College of Asia and Pacific.
Written by ANU Professor Assa Doron and Professor Alex Broom, University of Sydney, A World of Resistance offers a sweeping analysis of one of the most daunting public health challenges facing the world today: the global rise of antibiotic resistance, viewed through the lens of India.
The launch will also feature Dr Aditya Balasubramanian in conversation with the authors on the book’s themes, the global challenge of antibiotic resistance, and the value of interdisciplinary research in responding to complex contemporary problems.
