Chooks, join us for us for a mid week yap and a glass where we discuss this month's read - London Falling: A Mysterious Death in a Gilded City and a Family's Search for Truth by Patrick Radden Keefe.
London Falling is an investigative report into the mysterious and very real death of 19 year old Zac Brettler. A change of tune for book club with a non-fiction - which is what book club is all about (trying a range of genres and styles!).
September's ticket includes a drink on arrival!!!
If you haven't finished the book, you are welcome to grab a no spoilers wrist band! This way you can enjoy the vibes of book club even if you haven't finished the book and still get to finish the book!

solo chooks are welcome and encouraged!!! a huge motivation behind books and chooks creating an opportunity for people to meet and make new friends.
non-drinking chooks are also welcome! water, wine or anything in between, we just wanna see you there!
you don't need to finish the book. There isn't a test! just get through as much as you can and come ready to share your thoughts.

Refund Policy
We know things come up! If your plans change, you're welcome to cancel your tickets for a full refund—just make sure it's at least 7 days before the event.
For cancellations made within 7 days of the event, we're unfortunately unable to offer a refund, as numbers and bookings are already finalised by that point.

FAQs
- Can I come solo?
Absolutely!!!!! A huge reason behind book club was to meet like minded people and make some new friends! It can be tough to make friends as an adult and we know that, that's why we have designed book club to be a conduit to lasting friendships!!!
- What if I haven't finished the book?
Let us be clear - book club is not a test!!! You can absolutely come without finishing the book.
The book gets us in the door but the convo, the vibes and the new friends is what makes book club special AND if you haven't finished yet and want to avoid spoilers - we have the wrist band for you!!
- Is it always the same genre?
No! We want our community to be involved as much as possible, and we want to challenge our reading preferences. We vote on a genre and then on the book each month, so you are able to have an input into the monthly read.
- What is the age range?
We have chooks of all ages! From 18 through to their 50s! Book club is an inclusive space!

Maddie & Idge will take the stage to discuss the book, announce next month's read and venue, and do giveaways!
