St Andrew’s Church Epsom is holding a book fair in May of this year; ‘Books, Bagels & Banter’- a weekend of books, delicious bagels and stimulating guest speakers including children’s story-time. The perfect sequel to the Auckland Writers Festival! Â
Friday 24th May 6:00 - 9:00pm - Simon Wilson, journalist and author will talk on his book, 'HomeGround: the story of a building that changes lives.'
Saturday 25th May 10:30 - 11:30am - Jenny Lynch, former editor of the NZ Women's Weekly and author will talk on her book 'The Secrets they Kept.'
Saturday 25th May 1:30 - 2:30pm - Geoff Scott, award winning Chef and lecturer will talk on his favourite cookbooks.
Saturday 25th May 2:00 - 3:00pm - Colleen Brown, community advocate and author will talk on her books including her latest 'Violet's Scarf.'
Sunday 26th May 11:15 - 12:15pm - John Bluck, retired Anglican bishop and author will talk on his latest book 'Becoming Pakeha – a journey between two cultures.'Â
