Description

A cosy start to your day, a place for book lovers and a way to reclaim your love of reading.

Join us every Friday morning, as we read at a local cafe from 8-9am. We'll spend an hour reading, and then chat afterwards about what we read and what we think about it.

All you have to do is bring your book to West 48 in Footscray.

Our goal is to get off our phones and be more intentional with our time (and deal with our ever-growing TBR pile). Wake up and have a coffee with us while we read in the sun.

Everyone is welcome; people from all walks of life, women new to the area, or those who just love reading. Stick around afterwards for chats with a community of like-minded women.

Our first meet-up will be Friday, 18 September. Tickets include a select coffee, tea or chai.

Join us for a chat about your fave books over a coffee. We created Girls’ Night Book Club because we wanted a fun place to talk about our fave books, music and art created by women.

See you there

FAQs

  • What is Girls' Night Book Club?

Hi! We’re so pleased to meet you. We created Girls’ Night Book Club because we wanted a place to talk about our fave books, music and art created by women. We love classic literature, weird books and strange stories - the messier, the better. And we think life is too short to read a dull book, so we’re here to help you sort the treasures from the trash.

  • Can I come alone?

Of course! Most people come alone and very quickly make new friends. This is a very open and welcoming group of girls.
