BOOKWORM Roxy Special Screening + Q&A
Event description
Join Square Eyes Screen Foundation for a special presentation of Aotearoa-made whānau-friendly adventure comedy BOOKWORM, hosted with our friends at The Roxy Cinema.
We're thrilled to present a post-screening Q&A with director, writer, and producer Ant Timpson, and recent Toi Whakaari graduate actor + TikTok sensation Theo Shakes (who has a cameo in the film). Together they will share inspiring insights into their filmmaking process and creativity focused lives. 🎬📚🐛
Ant, the founder of the 48Hours filmmaking competition, has crafted a cinematic love letter to the films that he grew up with in BOOKWORM — a film that centres around whānau connection and adventure. This screening and Q+A offers a terrific way to connect with local on-screen storytelling and recent New Zealand filmmaking.
All tickets just $13*
