Craig Aspinall
Acting NSW Landcare Program Manager & Community Landcare Aboriginal Engagement Officer, Landcare NSW

Craig is an Aboriginal man from the Birpai nation on the lower north coast of NSW and has devoted most of his private and working life to the natural and cultural values associated with land and sea country. He has extensive experience in various government and non-government roles and holds a number of university and VET qualifications, including the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Craig joined the NSW Landcare Program Team in May 2020 to specifically foster inclusion and representation of Aboriginal interests as they relate to and complement Landcare activity. The role provides support and advice to Landcarers in developing mutually beneficial engagement and strengthened relations between Aboriginal Organisations and Landcare at local, regional and state levels across NSW.

Craig will deliver a presentation on the “Working Together” Aboriginal Communities Engagement Program – the journey, achievements, challenges and the vision of how Landcare and Aboriginal people can build the future together.

BCLG will be following NSW Health Covid Safety guidelines: to visit a hospitality venue, you must carry vaccination evidence with you and produce it for inspection if requested, check in with Service NSW app or provide your contact details and follow face mask rules.
