Emergencies are unpredictable, and during a disaster, help may not always be immediately available. These sessions will support you to plan and prepare, helping reduce risks to life and property.

The First 72 Hours Emergency Plan

The first 72 hours of an emergency are critical. Consider how you would manage if professional assistance was unavailable and essential services—such as power, water, gas, roads, phone reception, and food supplies—were disrupted.

The First 72 Hours program supports households and businesses to develop a practical Emergency Plan. Building safer, more resilient communities is a shared responsibility for all Victorians, not solely those working in emergency management.
