Well, Bootblack KL is coming to the Uassigned Gallery as part of the Wicked Reboot Naarm Artfest to teach these three things!

Covering off the basics of bootblacking, they’ll be teaching the cleaning/conditioning and polishing method.
There will also be an opportunity for you to work on something so BYO shoes/boots or something leather!

If you’ve ever sat for a bootblack, you know there is an energy exchange. KL will help you understand the finer points of sitting for a bootblack and share some history.

Also, tipping! YES, bootblacks don’t set a price but there is an understanding that the service they offer is valued with tips.
